A Family Tradition

tra-di-tion:
the handing down of statements, beliefs, legends, customs, etc from generation to generation especially by word of mouth or practice

Its an old Glass tradition -

The day after Thanksgiving you go to a Christmas tree farm and cut down a fresh tree!

There are 2 rules when you get home:

1) You CANNOT see the christmas lights until the official tree lighting when the tree is finished

2) You CANNOT listen to SILENT NIGHT ALL DAY - until the tree lighting!!!

These are SACRED :)

Andrew's favorite part of the tradition is the Sparkling juice! He has a little cup every night while we look at the tree and talk about our new tradition = Elvis the Elf! Claire is still a little young, but she is enjoying the tree and all of its delicate ornaments!

Hope you are all starting your Christmas season with a little innocent magic!

Thankful

In terms of Thanksgiving pictures - I FAIL! I barely picked up my camera :(

We had a great holiday celebrating with family!

Just to make you smile!

Pictures!

We had pictures taken of the kids this weekend. As we were getting ready I got my camera out to get them "in the mood". I love this little series of pics because I'm sure as you all can relate, it always takes a few shots to get to a good one!

These are just a couple quickies as we were waiting for the photographer.

How adorable is this?!?

Lil' sweetie is sick again! Being treated with 2 antibiotics this time.

She's a trooper & just goin' with the flow as usual.

"SUPER" Sweet Halloween!!!

So, I thought I had the perfect plan. I'll ask Andrew what he wants to be for Halloween and I'll base Claire's costume around his. Easy! Right? WRONG! He had decided that he wanted to be Super Man - I was SOOOO excited once I found the most adorable Wonder Woman for Claire. Aaron was even going to dress up as Clark Kent. I ordered the WW costume and was so excited about their "coordinating" costumes. Well, about a week later Andrew decided he no longer wanted to be Super Man! What ?!? He atleast still wanted to be a superhero so I thought we can make it work. I hatched ANOTHER plan, Im thinking if I take him to the store maybe he'll see the Super Man costume and want to be him again because of all his muscles, cape, etc. WRONG AGAIN! He wanted to be Wolverine, then he wanted to be Batman, then he saw it. Iron Man. GAME OVER! He was sooooo excited to get dressed and try everything on as soon as we got home. So, Im thinking I will not be able to pull off coordinating costumes in the future :(

Hope you all had a Happy Halloween!
I AM IRON MAN!
