Fall Fest at Calvary

Our church had a family fall fest. Anytime there's bounce houses consider it a hit for our kids!
They love it. However, Claire climbed all the way up the blow up slide and freeeeaked.
I had to climb up, get her, and slide down with her.  There was cotton candy, a little petting zoo, The Croods on a big screen, and a craft tent with warm apple cider and hot chocolate to help warm up. There was also hay rides and a bonfire but we decided to go home and
cuddle up inside and watch a movie.
I just love this time of year!!!

Homemade Apple Cider

Aaron and the kids helped make homemade apple cider last weekend at Grandma and Grandpa Glass'.
I am soooo disappointed I missed the event and will be sure to be there next year!
They had so much fun helping gather the apples and pouring them in the press.

Taste testing!

Picking some of the ghourds they planted!

And, the cider is amazing! They made about 30 gallons of apple cider!

Carving Pumpkins!

Its tradition to go to Grandma Villarreal's the weekend before Halloween to carve pumpkins together!
This year Aaron helped me make a spooky treat to bring - Jello worms!
They turned out AWESOME!!! They were a PAIN to make!

She cleaned and carved her pumpkin all by herself!
He couldnt take the smell so left as soon as everyone took the tops off!

The Pumpkin Master!

Claire loved it! She even helped pull out the seeds to bake.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
