Andrew is just cruising all over the house! He's still doing the army crawl, and yesterday he was scooting backwards on his butt on the wood floors. We're pretty sure he'll be walking within the next month and just skip the official crawl. Who knows, we'll see. He's getting really coordinated at going from the table, to the couch, to the chair, to his play table, and whatever else he would like to get into. He's also using his play table as a walker and pushing it all over the living room to get where he wants to go without having to crawl. He LOVES to walk! Summer time should be fun! Hopefully by then I'll be able to find shoes that fit him good.

he now says 4 "words", DaDa, BaBa, NaNa, & MaMa!

8 MONTHS OLD!

Hard to believe Andrew turned 8 months yesterday! He's changed so much just in the past month I can't imagine what's in store for the next 4 months :( He's been sleeping throught the night all week without waking up, we're so excited! Here's a video of Andrew laughing at Aaron while he blows out his nose :)

SOOOOO BIG!!!

So now that Andrew has discovered that he can pull himself up on anything all he wants to do is stand! The days of sitting him in the middle of the floor with toys to play with are gone :( As soon as we set him down, he rolls onto his belly and takes off. It's so cute to listen to him grunt as he crawls around the house determined to get into everything he should'nt be! :)

As we look back on 2008, we can't imagine 2009 being as "life changing" as the last. It will be so different when we're sitting here at this time next year, it's hard to believe how much life has changed already. Andrew is only 8 months old and I feel like he's grown so much already. We are looking forward to the exciting year to come and hope that you all have a wonderful, blessed year full of memories that will last a life time!

Crying it out update -

We've discovered that Andrew does awesome when we stick to a typical day and keep him on schedule. I guess there's one positive to going back to work this week :( Hopefully he will be ok when he goes back to day care tomorrow!

Crying It Out? HELP!

OK- Aaron and I are at a loss!!! We have been trying to let Andrew cry it out for 11 days now!!! I was getting so worried because at 7 months he was still waking up every 2-3 hours (not to eat). The first night he cried for 50 minutes, the 2nd night was only 15, the 3rd was barely 5 minutes, and so on ..... Now that we're into the 11th night he is still waking up in the middle of the night screaming for over 45 minutes! He has only slept through the night without waking up for 1 night. Just wondering if anyone has any advice or tips - Our routine is eat, play, bath, bottle, bed. I put on music or his mobile, turn on his humidifier, & he has a night light. Half the time just getting him in the crib is a battle. He will be passed out in my arms and as soon as he feels me starting to lay him down he wraps his arms around me and starts crying. It's just breaking my heart. Sooooo, please let me know if you have any tips!!!
