Back To School

It's that time of year - kids are back to school!

They started at a new elementary school and so far so good! They have adjusted to the schedule really well and have made so many friends in the neighborhood already. The move has been great for them!

East Coast Bucket List

We had a few things we wanted to do before we left Maryland, aalot of them happened to be in Calvert County. WE never made it to the beach for one last day of hunting for shark teeth :(

We loved going to the Calvert Marine Museum and checking out the Lighthouse in Solomons Island.

One last visit to Anne Marie Gardens -

such a fun day!

And we finally made it to Fords Theatre! 

The kids liked it, I loved it!

4th of July on the National Mall

We had an amazing 4th of July! 

We spent the afternoon at the zoo so we could see the pandas before we moved back to IL and 

watched the fireworks on the National Mall in front of the Washington Monument.

We were lucky with getting on the second train that went through and we were even ablet o sit down after a few stops. It was an experience we will never forget!
