4th of July

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!
4th of July comes in at a tie for my favorite holiday!!!! I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT! The American pride celebrated with all things red, white, and blue has me waking up likes its Christmas morning! I love that the day is spent with all things family. I love watching the kids play outside while snacking on watermelon, strawberries, and Popsicle's. I love spending time with family and the biggest worry being "what can I bring?". I LOVE watching my nephew and nieces run around with my babies and remembering them just a few short years ago at that age.
I LOVE ending the night sitting in a chair next to Aaron and snuggled up to the kids trying to decide which firework is our favorite.
Sitting here thinking about it makes me LOVE it even more because each year has been so different for us. With different friends and in different places. That's what makes it so AWESOME!
The 4th of July is a holiday that celebrates LIFE. Celebrates FAMILY. Celebrates FRIENDS. Celebrates Freedom.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Lovin' the patriotic berries

Aaron thinks he got away without a star glasses pic but I have secret plans :)
"Oh the things Kelli will get me to do"

Filling up water balloons

Andrew needed to go inside and cool off
so I took the opportunity for a little cuddle time :)

Row Row Row Your Boat and a little UNO with Tori , so sweet

OK, so as I mentioned earlier I L.O.V.E. fireworks!!!! I envisioned loving fireworks with my kids. Andrew was really scared in the beginning which made it not so fun! After a little pep talk with Daddy by the time they really started he was fine, but for a while I thought I was going to spend the fireworks through a car window. In the end, they loved them! One of my favorite parts is Claire telling Andrew, " I told ya Andrew. Told ya" Over and Over again. She wasn't scared one bit, but that doesn't surprise me at all.
By the end of the night Andrew said his favorite was the loud ones that went boom!! Kids!

The Seccombe's - Tori, she was hangin' with The Glass'
The Glass' - Tori, she took the picture (she was there I promise)
In awe or confused by the sparklers

 LOVE these pics!
SERIOUSLY, how did they grow up so fast :)

Playing with Aunt Chrystal and Uncle Scott
Morgan will always participate in Aunt Kelli's festive props :)
 Happy 4th Babe! Love you!

Showin' some red, white, & blue pride!

HAPPY 4th of JULY!

Just the two of us

Aaron and I had out very first vacation ALONE since we had Andrew and Claire.
He had a work convention in Ft. Lauderdale and there was no way he was leaving me behind.
We went back and forth trying to decide if we should make it a family vacation or just the two of us.
Once my brother and sister-in-law offered to watch the kids, it was an easy decision.
We had 4 days together to just sit by the beach with NO plans! It was so relaxing and much needed!
4 days was just enough to get a relaxing break without overwhelming anxiety of missing the kids.
A BIG thank you to Uncle Scott, Aunt Chrystal, Tyler, Tori, and Morgan for taking such good care of the kids. They had so much fun and made some great memories!!!!
PS ~ Not a ton of pics, the last couple are foggy from the humidity on my camera.
The kids had an AMAZING tim at Uncle Scotts and Aunt Chrystals!!!

A Picnic Lunch With Daddy

Aaron had a meeting in St Charles so we packed up a picnic lunch and met up in a park. Honestly, it was such a fun and simple lunch. We all had a lot of fun throwing rocks in the river, playing tag, and just having a simple lunch together.
