Our Cover Girl

She is loving her make-up kit from Christmas.
We have to do a make-up check before we go out to
make sure she hasn't "applied".
I do have to admit she is getting pretty good at it!

The first snow

Wednesday was our first snow of the season.
I think we got maybe an inch.
The kids had a 2 hour delay start Thursday morning
and the roads were really bad. Ugh :/
Luckily, they were much more prepared for the big Blizzard!

Good Bye Sweet Walter :(

We are so sad that we had to let go of Aaron's Lincoln.
His transmission was starting to slip along with a list of other repairs,
so it was just time.

Aaron really wanted a truck, but the timing just isn't right.
He had it narrowed down to the VW Passat and the Chrysler 200.
I would've bet he would never have gone through with buying the VW
due to his long lived protest of buying a foreign car.
The VW really was the best for our family right now and
he actually followed through with the purchase.

He has stained the family name :)

Outside Christmas Activities

Here's the last of the Christmas Pictures Dump -

Claire and I had a fun girls day shopping downtown Annapolis
with Grandma Glass and Auntie Pam.
It got a little chilly, but it was absolutely beautiful!
Snowflake Alley -
Pictures don't do it justice, but the alley was filled with
beautiful blue and white snowflakes

We headed out to the Garden of Lights
at Anne Marie Gardens with Uncle Christoper.
It was so F.U.N.
This will definitely be a new tradition!

I remember going to see the National Christmas Tree last time we lived in Maryland
and loving the atmosphere in D.C.
After going back and forth all day, Grandma Glass finally just made the executive decision to go and we all were really glad we went (well - everyone but Claire :).

In front of the MD state Christmas tree -
don;t you just love those natural happy smiles :/

School Christmas Parties

I was so lucky to be able to join both of them for their gingerbread house classroom parties!
I will definitely treasure the opportunities to share these sweet memories with them forever!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

We had a quiet New Years Eve at home.
We went to see STAR WARS, played games, made pizza,
and toasted to our best year yet!
It was hard without our traditional party in the basement, but once we snapped out of our "funk"
we were able to enjoy the night as a family.

Aaron has gotten sucked into the
People Yearbook tradition.
It's amazing how much you forget has happened throughout the year.

Poor thing tried so hard to stay up.
She passed out at 11:52. We got her up in time for the ball to drop
and she was out again at 12:30.

STAR WARS: The Force Awakens

We all went to see the new Star Wars movie.
Claire thought it was creepy,
Andrew LOVED it,
Aaron liked it,
and I was not impressed with the first half, but felt sucked in by the end.
With that being said, we all went home and had a light saber fight.
Annnnd, we all are anxiously waiting to see the next one.
So, I would say it was a hit.
I think we'll have a STAR WARS marathon soon!

May the Force be with you......
