Going Green

Kelly Green that is!
All the red and pink is packed away and the green is out!
While putting out St Patricks Day stuff, the kids did not waste
any time digging into our St Patricks Props.
I couldnt pass up a photo shoot :)

I'm so lucky to have these little nuggets!

Crazy Chicago Winter

It's days like these that make me happy to be from Illinois!
Riding bikes, playing soccer, and shoveling snow & ice.
We loved getting some fresh air and the slight warm up :)

Sleep Over - Date Night

The kids had their annual Valentines Weekend / Birthday Sleepover
with Grandma and Grandpa Glass.
We brought them over after gymnastics so Claire of course wanted to
prance around in her leotard for awhile.

Looking like Edith from Despicable Me :)

We had so much fun on our date night and coming back to celebrate Grandpa Glass' birthday!
We are so very lucky and we really appreciate it!
Hope everyone had a Happy Valentines Day!

Tub Of Love

We had a fun Valentines Week!
I brought home a few crafts we did at school for the kids to make while I made dinner.
The celery rose prints were our favorite.

Have to include the reality shot :)

Aaron surprised Andrew with a special Boys Night Out to his first Bulls game!
He loved it and it was obvious he felt very special :)

Claire and I went out for dinner and frozen yogurt but I had to wake her up to get her goin'.
She had passed out on the floor before we left.

The Tub of Love!
One of my favorite traditions with the kids.

CHEERS!

And just a little extra to make you smile.
If you don't know Claire well, this sums her up completely :)

Having fun in the snow

Hard to believe that with ALL of the snow we've had this winter we haven't had a lot of chances to play in it. Last weekend was perfect because it wasn't soooo freezing outside.
It was the first time that Claire actually played in the snow. She LOVED it!
Her favorite thing was leaping into the snow piles

Gathering an arm full to make snow balls

Love his little expression as he finally got to the top to be crowned as
King Of The Mountain

We all came in and crashed.
Poor Andrew came in early and we thought he was just cold. Once we came in and got unbundled we realized that he had a fever :/

Through The New Years

So the tradition of sleepovers and hanging out til midnight has been 3 years!
Looking back through the blog for confirmation shows that 2010-2011 NYE we spent the day with the Johnsons but did not have the big party because Claire was really sick.
The post also notes that we really missed ringing in the new year with our friends in the neighborhood (the Brook's & Workman's) as we have for the last couple years.
Anyway, we always have a great time! Thanks for coming over guys!!!
2009-2010

They all made it to toast at midnight!

2013-2014

They made it to midnight again to toast in the new year!

Now we're both depressed looking back at the pictures of them growing up way too fast!
Enjoy every minute this year!

Happy New Year!

Its tradition -
sleepovers, pictures, games, dips, champagne, etc!
We have had NYE with the Johnsons and Brooks at our house for 4? years (I have to think about that).
I think Ill post the pics through the years next just for fun!
The group shot as best as we could in Time Square :)
