Biltmore

Road Trip to the Biltmore Estate!!!

We had quite the adventure at the Biltmore. It was very hot and we soon realized it wasn't a very kid friendly activity. As soon as we got in the house Andrew climbed up a pedestal and tried grabbing the bust. I didn't want to yell his name bringing attention to the toddler climbing the pedestal so from that moment on he was carried or holding one of our hands.

We had a nice day together, but it was a little stressful.

We are looking forward to another trip to Charleston next weekend!!!

Happy 4th of July!!!

We headed to Freedom Festival for dinner and fireworks. I think our new 4th of July tradition is running in the rain! The past 3 years we have timed in just right to get caught in the rain just before fireworks! It worked out great because we were sitting in the car looking up the weather when the fireworks started. It was nice and cool, and we weren't stuck in a big crowd of people when they were over. We had a GREAT time and it was a perfect ending to a wonderful weekend! Hope you all had a wonderful 4th!!!
