Well, Andrew took his first steps yesterday at Ms. Antoinettes :( She caught it on video on her cell phone for us to see though! It's a little fuzzy since she took it on her cell, but I love how the kids in the background are so excited! They all just spoil him over there. Of course he refused to take any steps when he got home! Hard to believe he's walking already. We will start getting serious with the baby proofing now that he will figure out he can get into everything. He's already had 3 bruises on his face from "cruising" furniture, it will be interesting to see how hard he beats himself up now that he's walking!

Seriously?Andrew has been so silly lately. He makes the funniest faces and I get so excited when I catch him with the camera. I think he has finally discovered his bottom teeth with his tongue and he's always playing with them. His personality is really starting to show. It's so fun to watch him learn and grow every day!

I took Andrew on Saturday to take his 9 months pics. I cant wait to take a photography class so they can't sucker me in the store with the package prices. I actually did really good this time, reminding myself these are only his 9 month pictures (save the big package for his 1 yr :). It just kills me when they bring out all the precious pictures framed and you know as soon as you walk out the door they are going to throw them in the garbage :( It's getting harder and harder to get a picture of him lately since he is always on the move, but they managed to get some cute shots :) As hard as it is to choose, I picked the first one. I just love those bottom 2 teeth!!!

Andrew turned 9 months on Friday! He had his 9 month check up with only 1 shot and a finger prick (which was worse than any shot ). He weighed in at 24 lbs, 10 oz which is in the 94th percentile and measured at 30.3 in. which is the 96th percentile! He's growing so fast and the doctor said everything looked good. Can't believe my sweet pea is going to be 1 in only 3 short months :( Time flies!!!!

Something New Every Day :)

Every time Andrew is confined to one spot (high chair, car seat, walker) he finds a clear way to communicate he wants out. This is his new way of telling us he's had enough, although I think he figured out he was making us laugh so he started to be goofy :) Hope everyone had a restful weekend!

Andrew is just cruising all over the house! He's still doing the army crawl, and yesterday he was scooting backwards on his butt on the wood floors. We're pretty sure he'll be walking within the next month and just skip the official crawl. Who knows, we'll see. He's getting really coordinated at going from the table, to the couch, to the chair, to his play table, and whatever else he would like to get into. He's also using his play table as a walker and pushing it all over the living room to get where he wants to go without having to crawl. He LOVES to walk! Summer time should be fun! Hopefully by then I'll be able to find shoes that fit him good.
