Aaron left for Paris today - would of been a family vacation if Andrew had a passport :( We celebrated Fathers Day before he left and these pics were part of his gift. I'm just addicted to taking pictures of him!!!! Hope all of you Dad's have a relaxing weekend!

We love Brookfield Zoo!

Today we went to the zoo for the first time this year. It was packed! Andrew had a rough start when he rubbed sunblock into his left eye before we even walked through the gate, poor guy. After it rinsed out he did great and seemed to really like the animals. We heard a lion roar (actually yawn) and he didn't know what was going on. He loved the little goldfish in the family zoo, the orangutans, the giraffe's, and lovesd all the birds! He had freedom to walk wherever he wanted and thought that he was pretty cool. We bought a family pass so I'm hoping to take him often this summer! Enjoy your weekend :)

Since School has been out, it's been crazy! With switching classrooms and deep cleaning our house while I had 2 days left at the babysitter, it's been busy around here. I'm so excited to have the summer with my little man - I only wish Aaron could spend it with us too :( I feel guilty making plans without him. I look forward to posting all of our adventures this summer! Enjoy the weekend!

P.S. - We're trying to plan our family vacation and we're having a hard time planning a fun relaxing trip that Andrew would enjoy (even though he wont remember it). If you have any suggestions please let us know!

We had such a fun long weekend just hanging out together! We are soooo ready for summer!!! I cant wait to spend my summer playing outside with Andrew :) Hope everyone enjoys there short work week!!

We went to B&R's 30th Birthday party last Saturday. Andrew had a blast playing with the girls. Every time he see's Kennedy he usually tries to pull her hair or smack her head, so we had progress with him kissing her head :) On Sunday Grandpa S. brought him a wagon for his birthday and he loves the freedom!!! He gets pretty grouchy in the stroller now, so the wagon is perfect!

1 YEAR PICS - LOVE THEM!

So 1 day after his 1st birthday, Andrew choked on a dime and then swallowed it after Aaron did the "baby heimlich". It was such a terrifying experience and ever since then we've "digging" for it in his diapers. Andrew or a.k.a. "Dinero" had to go for a second x-ray this morning to be sure it wasnt caught anywhere since he had not passed it yet. Luckily, he pooped it out 1hour and a half after his x-ray! If I were anything like Ryan J I would've taken a picture of the poopy dime in the diaper, but I decided we all got the picture. He's still priceless to us!
